I've always loved creating and designing, ever since I can remember.
So, after a number of years working in the corporate world, I picked up my paintbrushes again. It was the first COVID lockdown in 2020 (remember that?!) and I hand painted my own wedding invitations as I wanted something really special to send to our guests that told our story and was one-of-a-kind. I now have it framed in my studio as a treasured memento.
Then, like everyone in their late 20's, all of our friends started getting engaged, and started asking me to create their wedding stationery too as they loved ours so much.
That's when I thought, 'why not turn this into the business I’ve always dreamed of, so I can paint and create beautiful stationery for other stylish couples too?'. And so in 2022, I launched Alex Hinton Design to create beautifully detailed and personal stationery for the stylish yet sentimental.
Since then, I’ve had the pleasure of creating personalised hand painted wedding stationery and bespoke illustrations for some wonderfully creative couples and clients.
All of my designs are created by hand in my studio in Kent. I use a combination of watercolour painting and floral press in my designs to create beautiful, unique and timeless designs for the most stylish couples and clients.
